Club sessions take place after midday on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. During the summer there is also a club session on Wednesday evenings. The idea is to ensure general doubles play between all members.

	Though far from high tech, the Wood Vale playboard works surprisingly well.

General play is achieved by an ingenious notice board system - see above - - which is impossible to explain in a few words but quite simple in practice. During the club sessions each four is limited to one set, with a tie-break at 5-5 if required. When the courts are very busy sets are limited to 8 games only.

	Finals Saturday at the Wood Vale Summer Tournament held early in September is a jolly affair with some excellent tennis and an equally excellent barbecue (see below.)
